Legal Disclaimer — Service Coeliaque

1) Identification of the service

Service Coeliaque is a software application operated and maintained by Solutions BenSoft (the “Operator”).

Any reference to “Service Coeliaque”, “the service”, “the application”, or “the platform” refers to a product provided by Solutions BenSoft.

2) Nature of the service — no professional advice

Service Coeliaque is a personal management tool that may include features such as data entry, organization, and consultation (invoices/receipts, grocery lists, comparisons, reports, and community content).

The service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including accounting, tax, legal, medical, or financial advice.

3) Personal data and information provided by the user

At no point does Service Coeliaque require or ask for sensitive or confidential personal information such as, without limitation: legal name, postal address, date of birth, social insurance number, banking information, or medical information.

The only mandatory information required to create an account is: (1) a valid email address (used for authentication and communications), and (2) a username (display name) chosen by the user.

Any information later added by the user in their profile or within the application (free text, data, documents, comments, forum content, or otherwise) is provided voluntarily and under the user’s sole responsibility.

Solutions BenSoft does not verify the accuracy of user-provided information and cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from user disclosures.

4) User responsibility for inputs and outputs

You acknowledge that all results, reports, calculations, totals, comparisons, and lists depend entirely on the data you enter, import, or upload.

You are solely responsible for validating, verifying, and using the data and outputs produced by the application, including before any tax filing, reimbursement claim, professional review, or submission to an authority.

5) No guarantee of compliance or eligibility

Laws, regulations, tax programs, reimbursement policies, and evidentiary requirements vary by jurisdiction and may change without notice.

Solutions BenSoft does not guarantee that Service Coeliaque’s reports, categories, calculations, or features meet legal, tax, or administrative requirements applicable to your situation.

6) Document retention and proof

You are responsible for retaining your original documents (invoices, receipts, statements, confirmations, emails, or other proofs).

Digital copies, stored data, or reports generated by Service Coeliaque may not be sufficient proof for government, tax, or third-party requirements.

7) Data storage, offline operation, and security

Service Coeliaque may store certain data locally on your device (including via browser storage) and may function partially offline.

You acknowledge that clearing local storage, reinstalling the application, changing devices, or device loss/theft may result in irreversible data loss.

You are responsible for device security, credential confidentiality, and any backups you consider necessary.

8) Service availability — provided “as is”

Service Coeliaque is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including (without limitation) warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solutions BenSoft (including its officers, employees, developers, contractors, and partners) shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including (without limitation) data loss, financial loss, penalties, interest, filing errors, eligibility refusals, or service interruptions arising from the use of, or inability to use, Service Coeliaque.

10) Community content

User-generated content (forum posts, comments, messages) reflects only the opinions of its authors.

Solutions BenSoft does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or relevance of user-generated content.

11) Changes and continued acceptance

Solutions BenSoft may modify Service Coeliaque, its features, and this legal disclaimer at any time.

A new acceptance may be required to continue accessing all or part of the service.

12) Refunds (time-limited)

Subscriptions are refundable only within a limited time period, under the conditions applicable at the time of purchase.

After this period, no refunds will be issued.

13) Governing law

This disclaimer is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
